The Beer Hall at The Mill Yard in Staveley LA8 9LR, is holding its Annual Summer Beer Festival over the weekend of Thursday 19th to Sunday 22nd July 2012.

This is the biggest event of the year held by Hawkshead Brewery and celebrates British craft breweries.

There will be 3 bars and a marque serving over 60 different beers over the weekend, with all cask beers being on handpull from the cellar. There will also be 3 guest ciders from the Pure North brewery which is based in the Holme Valley, Yorkshire and run by Rob the owner of Hideaway Cottage in Staveley. Pure North Cider is pressed by hand and full of anti-oxidants, and can often be cloudy as it is naturally produced from a blend of cider apples picked from their own orchard on site.

Food will be served all day and there will be live music on the Friday night The Curragh Sons, and on the Saturday night The Mustard Cutters.

The festival times are as follows:

Thursday 12pm - 11pm

Friday 12pm - 11pm

Saturday 12pm - 11pm

Sunday 12pm - 8pm

You can contact The Beer Hall direct on 01539 825260.

Staveley is on bus and rail routes, or a short taxi ride from Bowness on Windermere.
