Situated on the first floor, and having open views of the grounds and fells Brantfell is a spacious two bedroomed self contained self catering apartment.

The open plan living and dining room is bright and airy with views of the delightful spacious grounds, with stream and pond.

The twin bedroom has unrestricted views of open fields and the fells beyond (as shown in the last photo).

Brantfell nestles amidst the fells surrounding Lake Windermere. The house was on the packhorse trail down to the ferry and was famed for its association with the breeding of fell ponies.

The centre of Bowness on Windermere and the lake is only 1 mile away. Bowness has a vast variety of restaurants, traditional pubs and gift shops. Other popular attractions include Beatrix Potter Museum, Cinema, Theatre and the Aquarium of the Lakes. There are activities for all ages and abilities close by, such as Watersports, fishing, cycling, golf and horse riding.

A car/passenger ferry runs from Bowness to Sawrey, which is just a few minutes away from Brantfell. Just across the lake is the home of Beatrix Potter. Within a short drive is the market town of Kendal, Ambleside and Grasmere.
