Description:

Lying at the entrance to the peaceful Kentmere valley Staveley is within the Lake District National Park near Windermere. Holme Cottage is a detached character cottage tucked behind a terrace row of cottages, surrounding a communal lawned area,in Banks Fold in the centre of this bustling Lakeland village.

A beautifully presented sitting room with inviting living flame gas stove beckons you as you enter this attractive Lakeland Cottage. Well equipped dining kitchen. Upstairs you will find two well presented co-ordinated bedrooms and a pleasant fully tiled bathroom.

Staveley is a “mecca” for mountain bikers and cyclists due to Kentmere and Garburn Pass being on its doorstep, and there is a good sized cycle superstore in the village. Also within the thriving village you will find the Eagle and Child pub, Haweshead brewery and bar, Wilf’s cafe, a fish and chip shop, an artisan bakery, small Spar supermarket, butchers, chemists and a children’s play area and a train station – ideal if you want to head to Windermere or Kendal. Windermere is just a few miles away and travelling in the opposite direction is the medieval market town of Kendal, which is known as the gateway to the lakes.
